Hi there. Nice ... By: Ineedmorelives. on 08 Mar 12, 07:55:03 Hi there. Nice videos.? I am going through them now. I just watched your salad dressing accident video hehe. I have bought some raw vegan protein powder online at iherb. Right now you can get $5.00 off with this code ZAP384. I got my package in Israel in less than a week and only paid $4.00 shipping. Everything is really cheap on the website. I am using Sun Warrior Raw Vegan protein powder now.
Yes, I'm happy Sam ... By: Vocaljoe. on 08 Feb 12, 20:55:18 Yes, I'm happy Sam wasn't with me in my car when it happened and that it was only whiplash. I really hope that he? will learn from this and stops drinking. He was so drunk, he didn't even say sorry to me.
The most wonderful thing about my grandma was that she was very even-tempered and a good listener. I miss her. It's a long time ago but I remember her sitting in her armchair and watching her Siamese cat.
HOLY CRAP! Glad? ... By: XVedgeEdgeX. on 08 Feb 12, 18:33:52 HOLY CRAP! Glad? you guys are okay *hug*! OMG! That man that hit you really needs some help. Alcohol is really bad especially when people are not responsible with it. Addiction is an awful thing. I am glad no one is really hurt and hope that man realizes that he needs to stop drinking alcohol.
You are so sweet. I love awesome memories of loved ones that have passed on. My Grandma was amazing, too!
I somehow missed this video!
What a comment... ... By: Vocaljoe. on 05 Feb 12, 20:38:12 What a comment... thank you! :-)))))))
Yes, Sam is very intelligent. His kindergartners told me this too. But I was the same at his age (I started reading and writing at the age of 3 too) and I still remember the testing. They tested me in the kindergarten and it was very embarrassing for me. I don't know... I somehow don't want him to make the same - a bit traumatizing - experience... But? I'm thinking about this a lot. Maybe I'll do this before his enrollment.
XOXO

Thank you. I'm ... By: Vocaljoe. on 05 Feb 12, 18:38:54 Thank you. I'm happy Sam wasn't with me in my car. There are many reasons for my veganism but one of them was my tummy. I suffered? from stomach cramps since puberty (so bad that I was almost loosing consciousness) and no doctor could help me. I even had stomachoscopy (nothing found), was swallowing many different pills and nothing helped enough. And I had really bad acne and a house-dust allergy and some other health issues. Since I'm vegan all this is gone.

Thank God you are ... By: fluffykingsbury. on 05 Feb 12, 01:53:33 Thank God you are OK & everyone else also. I can't believe he was driving his child to school drunk. It's really scary you never know who you are on the roads? with. My daughter started driving & I always tell her I'm not afraid of her driving, but the others around her. She didn't understand what I meant at first, but now she does.
I can't eat many foods because of allergies & my tummy hurts too. Is that a reason you went vegan?
Thanks for the vlogs!

Yes, soy milk is ... By: Vocaljoe. on 04 Feb 12, 21:19:49 Yes, soy milk is very good but unfortunately I'm allergic to soy. As many people are. And rice milk tastes good to me :-) Sometimes I drink almond milk.
I lost about 5 kilos but I know it's normal when you become vegan. I'm gaining it back now. I think the? body must get used to this different diet.
I think rice milk ... By: kingofaikido. on 04 Feb 12, 21:06:11 I think rice milk is a rip off.. I? mean, it's just the water left over from boiling rice right? With a little sweetener or sugar added. So, it would be much better to eat the rice directly. I mean there's really little nutritional value in it.. I prefer soy milk because there's lots of protein in that and it's the most bio-available vegetable protein on the market.
..train together.. ... By: kingofaikido. on 04 Feb 12, 21:03:23 ..train together.. Sam would love it too, it's the most non-violent art? based on the philosophy of harmony.
I think it takes ... By: kingofaikido. on 04 Feb 12, 21:01:51 I think it takes about 6 months before you start to feel a little bit week. At least, what I found was that I started to lose my reserve energy, and I lost a lot of weight.? But, I've never heard of sweet lupin. It sounds good with high protein. and yes i eat all those other things and I feel pretty strong..but not aggressive.. The best aikido I think is unfortunately in Japan.. Takeda Yoshinobu's aikido IMHO is the best, because easy to do and learn.. well, maybe in a couple of years we'll..
But I feel better ... By: Vocaljoe. on 04 Feb 12, 21:01:27 But I feel better since I'm? vegan. My allergies and tummy troubles are gone and I'm much more balanced than before.
And I drink rice ... By: Vocaljoe. on 04 Feb 12, 20:59:00 And I drink rice milk. But you are right. Unfortunately it's not possible to live and eat? completely ethically but it's good to try as much as possible.
I always wanted to ... By: Vocaljoe. on 04 Feb 12, 20:55:07 I always wanted to try aikido. I'm very fascinated by this. A friend of mine who was doing kick boxing with me is doing aikido now. But I don't have time now. But I'm still young so maybe in one or two years when Sam is older we'll do it together. :-) There are courses here for children, near my place. :-) I'm doing pilates now and 1-2 hours on my cross trainer (uphill) every day and? I seem to get enough energy from sweet lupin flour, beans, peas, nuts and seeds.
..when I tried ... By: kingofaikido. on 04 Feb 12, 20:39:39 ..when I tried veganism for a while, I started to get cold and very skinny.. So, I compromised and I use a little bit of butter, but not milk (only soya milk), and I also take some honey for energy.. Of course, it's impossible to eat completely ethically because some food may have been used in slave labour conditions. I discovered that computer parts are made in Malaysian sweat shops...so.. but I do my best. Of course, I need some energy? for aikido..
Yeah, I survived ... By: kingofaikido. on 04 Feb 12, 20:36:55 Yeah, I survived the accident. Teaching and practising aikido 5 hours a day probably saved me as well. I flew about about 10 feet in the air.. and landed in a judo 'ukemi' or 'forward breakfall'. Wow, I can believe you did all those sports. You look like you're? in good shape.. I later hurt my lower back in aikido so now I only teach twice a week and concentrate on strengthening my body..its working so far, I go biking as well.. I wonder how you manage with the vegan diet. I;m a vegetarian but..

One hour of workout every day. At the minimum. I was also doing kick boxing for a while and pilates, bodybuilding (I know I don't look like this any more :-), swimming, biking... I'm a tough fighting machine *LOL* so, that's why I'm fine now.I believe. I hope you recovered fast from this too.

A guy was turning into the main road from the library and he didn't even see me, same thing, drunk and child on-board.. I flew through the air and landed on my hands. Aikido training helped. I was 'shaken but not stirred'. He wanted to give me $20, saying 'will that take care of it?' I said, 'man, my hands are bleeding, my body's shaking, my bike's destroyed; you have to give me a lift'
Thank you!? :-)
... By: Vocaljoe. on 04 Feb 12, 17:27:10 Thank you!? :-)
I'm fine now. Almost all symptoms of my whiplash are gone. No headache and no dizziness :-). And my car will be fine too. His insurance will pay for everything. For my lawyer too.
I'm not on facebook but I'm happy you would add me if I was. :-)
