Higher carb foods I will eat around? workouts: Natural potato chips, maybe some sugary Rockstar drinks (but ONLY after an intense workout, and I don't just drink as many as I want - I use them strategically to boost insulin levels after a fasted workout (worked out on empty stomach), brown rice.

You cannot "spot reduce" fat from your abs. Second thing: I can't tell you how many carbs to eat. You have to? figure out what works for you yourself. Go by how you feel, get in tune with your body, and you'll figure it out. Start with 50g a day for a few weeks and pay attention to how fatigued you feel after workouts. Bump up carbs around workouts as necessary.

I get 150 every day while I'm muscle-building and less than 20g a day when I'm strength-training. But right after the training is definitely when to eat the majority of your carbs, regardless? of however many you eat!
I'm having pretty ... By: cedarfallslifting. on 01 Feb 12, 23:22:59 I'm having pretty good luck with what I'm doing now. I have squat day/high carb day i do 150 carbs, upper body/low carb i do 50 carb right after lifting, then my off day i do no? carbs.
